The rules of the Red Bull X-Alps are simple: Start in the East of the Alps at Dachstein Mountain Range in Austria and paraglide as far as possible in the turbulent air high above the Alps, land safely, walk most of the night with a 20 kg pack containing your flying gear, sleep as little as possible, climb some 1,500 m up a peak before breakfast, take-off...and repeat it as many times as needed, until reaching the shores of Monaco, 800 km in the southwest!
