Two mountain guides, ten clients, an untouched ridge at an altitude of 7,000 metres. „Skippers d’altitude“ documents the work of mountain guides in high altitude expeditions. The guides talk about how to lead a group and about relationships in the group, they discuss questions concerning their work at this altitude and provide an insight into the difficult situations they have experienced both personally and professionally. In front of the fascinating scenery of the high mountain world, it is the sport performance which counts, however, what still remains most important is the human aspect.
