In mid-summer 2004, a Saxon-Bavarian expedition sets off in the heat of the east Anatolian steppe to the eternal ice crown of the Ararat. The expedition has two goals: they intend to follow the footprints of Friedrich Parrot who achieved the first ascent to the highest summit of Turkey and they want to search for traces of the legendary Noah’s Ark.
