The „Action Directe“ in the Franconian Jura Mountains was the first route of an 11th difficulty degree. In 1991, Wolfgang Güllich succeeded in the first ascent, and until now, only 9 climbers have managed to repeat the climb. One of them, and the first Austrian, was the multiple Boulder World Cup Champion Kilian Fischhuber. The „Action Directe“ is approximately 15 metres high, it consists of 12 difficult moves and starts with a jump from a one-finger hole into a sharp two-finger hole… This route demands a lot from Kilian in physical and psychological terms. After 6 days and several tries he finally succeeds in the repeat and – just by the way – in one of the most difficult boulder routes of Switzerland.
