The film is composed of time accelerated sequences which reveal the beauty of the Italian Dolomite mountains as time passes and seasons change: clouds perform intricate dances with the mighty peaks, night falls and stars appear to create their own ballet performed to Mozart's Requiem. There are no actors or dialogue, just the powerful performance of Mozart's final composition recorded exclusively for this production, filmed in more than a hundred locations over a five year period.
