In order to retrace the historical events, a French film team follows the trace of Eric the Red. In Iceland, the land of the Geysers and the tectonic faults they explore lava and ice caves. Navigating amidst the icebergs along the east coast of Greenland, the expedition finds itself in an abandoned city where they find a plaque littered with runes and the fragment of the greatest meteorite ever fallen on earth.
