In the spring of 2009, Basque mountaineer Ms. Edurne Pasaban and a film team from Spanish television are heading towards Kangchenjunga, the third highest peak on earth. In Kangchen Base Camp Edurne meets Ms. Oh Eun-Sun from South Korea, who could be the first woman to climb all 14 eight-thousand-meter-peaks just as Edurne. The documentary shows the hard trek to base camp in the gorgeous scenery of Nepal’s remote east and the progress of the expedition including a lot of Spanish humour.
