“Nr. 21 – ein Wolf wie kein anderer”
Nature and Environment (), Udo A. Zimmermann 45 min
Little Red Riding-hood and Hollywood are lying! Contrary to their fame as villains who attack men, wolves are a shy species. There are therefore only a few spots in the world where one can observe wild wolves. One of them is in Yellowstone National park. One of the Yellowstone wolves, however, appeals to the observers. For days they wait with their telescopes on their observation points to discover their darling “wolf number 21”, which they have simply named it. Whoever knows the history of this fascinating animal will, in the future, see the Hollywood wolf thrillers differently.
