Sandy Kenyon has been handicapped in his motor activity since birth. A defect in his brain makes it difficult for him to “walk” through life. He leaves the care centre and dreams of a journey of freedom and adventure. His deepest desire is to fly with a delta glider one day – in full freedom without feeling any physical handicaps. With his newest film work, the adventure filmmaker Matt Dickinson has turned a very sensitive, true story into a drama-documentary with great empathy. This is a dignified contribution to the European Year of Handicapped People.
