“Spurensuche in Tansania – Die Kohl-Larsen-Expedition”
Alpine and foreign cultures (), Annette Wagner (Deutschland/Germany) 59 min
Ludwig Kohl-Larsen, who in 1934 set off with his wife, Margit, to the former German East Africa, is a forgotten pioneer of anthropology. Hardly anyone knows that this German doctor found ground-breaking prehistoric remains in East Africa. The German couple organized two Africa expeditions that dealt with archaeological topics as well as with the anthropology of the last aborigines, the “Hadzabe”. The footage of this people who still lives as in prehistoric times is a precious source for scientific study.
