On October 2, 2002 Mark Newcomb, Carlos Buhler and Ace Kvale made the first ascent of the 22,821-foot Sepu Kangri, an enigmatic and notoriously difficult peak in the remote and once-forbidden Nyenchen Tanglha range of eastern Tibet. “Last Horizon” documents an expedition on the raw edge of the world where the earth meets “the jet stream”.
