“Das zuckersüße Vogelparadies”
Nature and Environment (), Friedrich Rischer 48 min
Using the example of the sugar factory Hohenau, Friedrich Rischer shows how the so-called “second-hand nature” can become a bird paradise through the cooperation between a modern industry management and a nature conversation club. The spectator watches the almost exotic diversity of birds at the deposit basins and at the cooling pond of the factory. In addition to the interesting and amusing behaviour of the birds, the exploration work of the scientists over the course of one year can be observed.
