In 1848, Sebastian Abratzky was the first man who climbed a rock in the Saxon Switzerland: the Königstein. He was immediately arrested. Later, the chimney sweep published his adventure in a book which is still known today. Even Reinhold Messner sometimes quotes Abratzky. The historic scientist Schindler, however, has some doubts about the adventure book. This short film reconstructs the incident and reflects detective Schindler’s view. An amusing insight into the Saxon climbing history.
