“Glücksucher auf 3260m”

Lenny Briels, Ilja Ronsdorf (Niederlande) - 60 min

Saturday, 10. Nov. 2007 from 08:00 in Congress Graz - Blauer Salon

The Hörnlihütte is situated at an altitude of 3,260 meters, at the foot of the Matterhorn, a mountain in Switzerland widely known for its remarkable shape. Every summer the hut is visited by thousands of people, both tourists and alpinists, who come up to admire and climb this breathtaking mountain. But what remains secret to the ordinary visitors, is the world of the people who live and work in this remote place during the whole summer season. What makes them want to go and stay up there, so far away from civilization? Based on the experiences of the summer crew, this film will provide a new insight into an already well-known place.
