In the second part of this complex documentary about the „Yukon Quest“, the sleigh dog race which leads 1600km from the Canadian Whitehorse to Fairbanks in Alaska, we approach the dramatic final on the slopes of the “Eagle Summit”. Who will win the race? In this hardly accessible region, the film team was close to the action, and in addition to fantastic shots of the fascinating dog teams, the musher, and of some characters along the track, they offer unique insights into the breathtaking winter wilderness of the Yukon.
