Mythos Amazonas - Alarm im Regenwald

With extensive expeditions, biologists are exploring the fauna of the Amazon rain forests and fight for their future. Rangers patrol the forest in their helicopters in order to detect illegal timber cuttings. The Amazon Area is endangered as it has never been before, every day, huge surfaces are cleared and burnt down. This film confronts the wonders of nature with the devastation in aesthetic and dramatic pictures. Apart from our veneration and respect for this particularly complex living network of endless organisms, we hope that the last big rain forest on earth can be preserved.
