- This is one of the hardest endurance competitions in the world. 30 athletes from 22 nations undertake a journey from Salzburg (A) to Monaco, exclusively on foot or flying with a paraglider. Day after day they do their best to achieve this 864 km long air-line along the alpine chain as fast as possible. Paul Guschlbauer from Graz (A) is participating for the first time, and he is hard on the experienced favourites’ heels. After 14 demanding days he struggles until the last minute in order to gain a position in the top field.
