- Daniel Peis has managed to connect his two favourite sport disciplines, climbing and paragliding. When flying with his paraglider across the Karwendel mountains, he discovers a huge north face in Eppzirl. From the air he examines the wall to find a line route for climbing. In autumn 2011, Daniel and his climbing partner Oliver Vötter succeeded in flying from the Seegrube near Innsbruck to the alpine pasture Eppzirl. On the following day, both of them achieved the alpine first ascent of the almost 400 metre high north face Freiungszahn, in the ninth difficulty degree. Experience the impressions from in the air and on the rock from very close!
