Whereas Johanna Ernst is struggling to win the World Championship of Climbing in Arco, Martin Riegler attempts an alpine north face in the Dolomites. Markus Bendler, however, projects a sport climbing route in the 10th degree in Lofer. Which kinds of physical and psychological stress are caused by climbing? This documentary accompanies the three climbing professionals very closely, and focuses on the medical aspects.
