- In the past year, the top alpinists Stephan Siegrist and Michal Pitelka from Switzerland climbed the famous north face of the Eiger wearing the equipment from the time of the first ascent in 1938. Will today’s climbers be able to repeat the performance of the Eiger pioneers with the old equipment? This documentary accompanies the two climbers on their search for evidence and watches them through the camera of the famous photographer and filmmaker Thomas Ulrich as they make their way into the unknown. It is a battle against themselves, against the north face and against the unfamiliar equipment.
