- With an oil pipeline proposal comes talk of what there is to be gained. The film asks the question, ‘What do we stand to lose?’ A hauntingly beautiful examination of the people and culture of the Great Bear Rainforest, located at the waters of British Columbia's west coast. Those committed to defending the fragile ecosystems and fjords fight to make themselves heard and have to get creative. They go out on the sea with their stand-up paddleboards demonstrating that their habitat is in danger - one paddle stroke at a time.
