Description
The „Drei Zinnen“ in the Dolomites belong to the most spectacular mountain shapes on earth. Throughout all times of Alpine history, the north faces have been the goals for the best climbers. This film follows the German top climber Alexander Huber to the latest milestone of this history, the free solo climb of the "Hasse-Brandler" on the Großen Zinne and the first ascent on the "Panaroma" on the Western Zinne, one of the most difficult alpine sport climbing routes of our times. In flash-backs, the film also gives an overview on the development of rock climbing: from the first ascents on north faces and the direct routes to the “Iron Age” of technical climbing and to the free climb movement.
