- A portrait of Hans Kammerlander: In addition to the many successes in the career of this extreme mountaineer from South Tyrol there have also been some dark hours. The film shows how he has managed to overcome those hours and how he has managed to “survive” – in particular thanks to his skill in learning how to turn back in time. In this film we also hear from many of his companions, including his wife. In addition we watch Kammerlander at home in Ahornach/South Tyrol, Italy, where he was born.
