- The valley Lechtal and the surrounding mountains show an untouched beauty hardly seen in any other comparable alpine region of this size. However, everyday human life in this region can be rough. Economic life often becomes an existential fight and natural powers such as mudflows, flooding by the mountain rivers and avalanches often threaten this living space. The film shows how the life of the inhabitants of the Lechtal is determined by their struggle against nature.
