- Description
- Someone once wrote, “Those who only know about music don’t know anything about it”. The main actor of this film knows quite a lot about music because he plays the first violin in the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. However, he also knows a lot about mountains in general and especially about climbing: in the mountain range Totes Gebirge, his homeland, he has opened numerous new routes. After film shots during orchestra rehearsals in the Vienna Concert Hall, the camera team has accompanied him together with his rope and life partner on a route through the 1,400 m high north face of the Schermberg. The weather too has contributed to the dramatic and impressive pictures of the film with its thunder and lighting – fortunately only for a while.
