- Wide parts of the earth are covered with ice. This hostile world gives home to seals and penguins, true experts of the cold. Humans can hardly survive in these icy regions, yet those ice masses are of great importance for us. Unfortunately the frozen splendour is vanishing. The geologist Jorge Strelin examines the impact of global warming on the giant ice masses. What will happen if the glaciers continue to retire so fast?
