- The Mount Drifika (6,447 m) in the Karakorum is the dream goal for eight young German mountaineers. During three years they have trained under the leadership of an experienced alpine guide in the Alps with the support of the German Alpine Club in order to become extreme mountaineers – a sort of training in dealing with calculated risks. Then, they set off on their first great adventure in Pakistan. This is the first film by Fridolin Baur, the director and cameraman, who has with this work made his mark in this profession.
