- What happens when a crazy film maker meets a crazy boulder climber and when they decide to make a film together? One could call it programmed chaos or the beginning of a common vision. The philosophy and the art of climbing of Bernd Zangerl are filmed in the Swiss Ticino, in the Magic Wood and in the mountains of the Silvretta. Every area has its own character, its own style and ambience, and therefore “… every centimetre of rock has its meaning… and here develops the synthesis of man and rock; rock becomes human, the human becomes fossilized.”
