Description
Anna Czerwinska, who is the best living Polish female Himalayan mountaineer, was for many years the roped partner of Wanda Rutkiewicz. At the age of 51, she was the oldest woman to climb Mount Everest. As early as 1978, she succeeded in climbing the north face of the Matterhorn in winter. Due to her many decades of expedition experience in the Karakorum and in the Himalayas, she can look back on five ascents of eight thousand metre peaks. A film team accompanied this extraordinary woman on her way to her next goal, to Lhotse.
