At the age of 22, Marco succeeded in the descent from the roof of the world on snowboard. On 8th September 2002, he stood again on the top of Everest, in search of a new first descent through the Hornbein Couloir, where he was seen for the last time. Bertrand Delapierre, his roped climber mate, opens his personal archives and pays homage to Marco, the young man living “outside the rules”.
