The international jury will apply the following criteria for selection: first and foremost, technical competence in the fields “cinematographic art”, “alpinism”, “journalism” and “film history” as well as the reference to “ethnological topics”. From all the contributions eligible for the competition, the jury will choose the Grand Prix Graz winner from among all eligible contributions.

In addition, the best film in each of the categories I–V is awarded a prize. Competition films that for reasons of time constraints cannot be shown in the official program can be viewed in their original version in the “Blauer Saal”. Please note the order of presentation on
the program available at the entrance of the theatre.
