Gassen is a village of mountain farmers in the Hohe Tauern of East Tyrol. In 1965, after a landslide, almost all inhabitants of Gassen left their home village. Just at the turn of the millennium, Gassen becomes the focus of manifold interests, and a tourist development project plans to make a museum out of Gassen. This plan, though, meets resistance.
