“Trans 333 - Nonstop durch Niger”

Thomas Zeller 60 min

Saturday, 10. Nov. 2007 from 08:00 in Grüner Saal

The ultra-marathon Trans 333 is the toughest run on earth through a desert. It is taking place in Niger for the second time. The run leads 333 kilometres through the desert Ténéré across a difficult terrain: deep sand, large stones and strong sand storms make life difficult for the runners. The athletes have a maximum of 108 hours time to reach their goal. Linguistic barriers and lack of support of the French organizer cause additional problems. Lisa and Gerhard Lusskandl from Lower Austria want to participate in this run. We accompany them on their adventure in the desert.
