In the late summer, the German Alpine Club organizes tree-planting activities in the mountain forests. In the area of the Spitzingsee, seven volunteers from all over Germany cope with the strains of planting the seedlings on steep slopes. All means are welcome, even helicopter operations, in order to bring the plants up to the mountain. With vivid pictures this film also explains the function of mountain forests.
