Mountaineers often dream of untouched summits, of places that are so remote that they have remained mostly undiscovered even today. In April 2006, three mountaineers and one doctor set off on a sensational expedition to the Gyalthang mountains in the eastern Kham-Tibet. They only have one satellite picture and without knowing what will expect them, they want to reach the mythical 6.200 m high Mount Genyen. Has this holy mountain already been climbed or will they be the first to do so? The weather is hostile. Can the mighty protective ghosts of the Genyen be won over with the help of the local Gelugpa monks and can the dream of the summit be fulfilled?
