In this film we undertake an imaginary travel back to the Bronze Age, when approximately 1400 before Christ animals were sacrificed on the “Piller Kultplatz” to honour the Gods. Around the year 47 after Christ, Roman legions as well as merchants travelled through the region of today’s nature park Kaunergrat. Starting with the "Via Claudia Augusta" as an original setting, the film progresses to the modern times. How does man percept the environment around him? Is the fight against nature still an everyday struggle?
