- Glacial caves are almost unexplored, fading worlds which give a unique insight into the interior of glaciers. The caves which have been formed by the glacial ice are fragile and of a bizarre beauty. Most of them exist for only a few years. In addition to the splendour of the blue ice in rich diverse forms and shades, they provide new insights into the glacial systems.
