Klaus Feichtenberger

For approximately half a year, Klaus Feichtenberger is abroad either to dedicate himself to his passion film or to receive one of the numerous awards, such as the Jackson Hole Award 2005. His journeys lead him around the globe. He counts as one the world’s best nature film makers. In fact, so far each and every of the films of the graduated philologist has won a prize. Among his awarding authorities are the broadcasting companies such as ORF, ZDF, BBC, Discovery and Arte. He was born in Graz and is an author of more than 250 screen plays and voice over texts.

Mojca Volkar Trobevšek (Slovenia)

She was born in a place very close to the Kamnik-Savinja Alps into a family of widely known mountaineers, mountain guides and rock-climbers, and members of the Alpine Rescue team. She continues the family tradition in her own ways. Her diploma thesis deals with rock-climbing and mountaineering belletristic literature. Teacher, professor of Slovenian language and comparative literature, and researcher of Slovenian mountaneering she has also worked for the Slovenian National TV as a scriptwriter and author of rock-climbing documentary films. Her films have received some awards on various European mountain film festivals. For decades, she has been a contributor to the International Mountain Film Festival Ljubljana and worked as a journalist. For years, she has been a regular marathon runner.

Peter Weinert (Germany)

German born Peter Weinert started his career after studying political science, German, sociology/ecology as well as qualifying as TV- journalist at NDR/ Norddeutscher Rundfunk in Hamburg. Since then and until 2015 he worked for Hessischer Rundfunk as author, director in the media sport, education and culture. He hosted for example features like “Sportjournal”, “Sportkalender”, and many others. For the travelmagazine “Nix wie raus” he produced numerous features throughout the world.
