Description
For more than 25 years Prosper has been climbing on the highest mountain of Africa. He works as a cook on the Kilimanjaro. Prosper alone takes care of his two children. His biggest dream is saving enough money for a motor bike. He is only one of the 15,000 local men and women who have found work here. They depend on the numerous tourists who come year per year to attempt the highest mountain in Africa. However, also for the masses of mountaineers, a successful ascent of the Kilimanjaro would hardly be possible without the help of African guides, porters and cooks. This film shows the every day life of a man who plays an important role for a mountain expedition, but who remains clandestine for the average tourist.
