- Description
- Cologne, the million metropolis on the Rhine is as well a living space for surprisingly many species. In this richly structured city there are enough food sources, protection from being hunted, and, above all during winter, a pleasant climate with warmer temperatures. The street gorges in the asphalt jungle and the water oasis between the cement massifs attract squeaky rose-ringed parakeets, secret racoons and bizarre mitten crabs. The cathedral with its numerous niches offers ideal breeding places for pigeons, crows and falcons, a bird rock in the middle of a stone desert.
