- Description
- On the 6th of March 2012, the Austrian Gerfried Göschl, the Swiss Cedric Hählen and Nisar Hussain from Pakistan set off in the Karakorum to reach the 8.080 m high summit of the Hidden Peak (Gasherbrum I) via a new route. Their goal: the first winter traverse of an eight thousand meter peak in the mountaineering history. Gerfried wanted to document his great adventure. However, on the 9th of March 2012, just beneath the summit, shortly before the great goal, the traces of the three climbers are lost.
