- Description
- This film documents the first BASE jump from a spectacular rock tower on the Eiger’s North Face. After having climbed the western ridge of the Eiger, the two extreme sportsmen Hannes Arch, a native Styrian, and the Swiss Ueli Gegenschatz jump from the so-called “Pilz”. For this jump, Ueli Gegenschatz uses a “wing suit” which produces a certain aerodynamic that brings him close to a form of flying. This is an adventure undertaken by two very experienced alpinists and aeronauts and recorded through spectacular pictures by the cameraman Thomas Ulrich.
