Description
Lessons at school are boring and ineffective. A German institute for polar and sea research didn’t want to accept this fact without acting. Two days a week, twenty pupils go to school at the research centre. They learn their subject matters in form of research projects, where they can cooperate with “real” scientists. The highlight is a research journey on the ship to the polar sea around Spitzbergen. Certainly not a trip for crybabies. However, the pupils are determined to fulfil their research task with great diligence.
