- Description
- 45 days, 0 nights, 600km on foot, 11 days living on a vertical wall, 4 guys, 1 girl….
Nicolas Favresse, Sean Villanueva, Olivier Favresse, Stephane Hanssens and Silvia Vidal on a rock climbing expedition on Baffin Island in the Canadian Arctic. It was a 60 km approach to Mount Asgard, of which they had to make 5 return trips to get all their gear and food to the base and back out or a total of 600 km on foot. This didn’t stop them from bringing along their musical instruments for the journey: tin whistle, mandolin, harmonica, concertina and pots and pans for percussion. They spend 11 days on the wall trying to freeclimb the North-West face of the South tower of Mount Asgard. This is very serious stuff!
