Description
The PhD biologist David Bittner explores the life of bears in Alaska under adventurous conditions. He lives alone in a remote wilderness, mainly eating the fish he caught. With a lot of patience and profound knowledge he succeeds in an extraordinary experience. He gains the trust of the feared grizzlies which tolerate him in their close vicinity. Even better: thanks to the yearly encounters with Luunie, Suunie, Chappy and Co he is able to build up a relationship with the bears, which is marked by respect and sympathy. His story rectifies the traditional prejudices and pleas for a peaceful and respectful coexistence of humans and animals.
