Exposed, difficult, high faces, partly in thin air. This is the world of the Swiss mountaineer Roger Schäli. He lives his life in the vertical world, where “to let go” means to proceed. This film tells the story of the Arwa Spire in India, where Roger has succeeded in the first ascent in 2002. When returning to the mountain 10 years later, the circle is completed. Together with his roped partner Simon Gietl, Roger reaches the summit. The film “To let go” is a love story of the mountains, but above all, of relationship between people.
