In our gardens live animals which are hardly known. Many of them are auxiliaries of the gardener in his battle against vermin. And the compost heap where we depollute our kitchen waste is a space full of life. Beside the numerous beneficial organism, ours garden is host as well to some rare animals. The extraordinary bee flies, marvellous sand lizards, beautiful butterflies and several migrant birds have found their home in natural gardens. This documentary presents the big and the little dramas from summer to winter, until the reawakening of spring.
