With its 5900 metre and seven climate zones, from the African Savannah up to the Arctic glaciers, the Kilimanjaro Mountain is unique and it hosts numerous plants and animals which do not exist anywhere else in the world. Unfortunately, the climate change has also left its traces here. The glaciers are melting, and the lack of rain fall cause a harm to the entire eco-system. The extensive agricultural exploitation by the overpopulation living on the foot of the mountain damage this giant.
