Bastian Kalous is fascinated by two things: large format photography and wild nature. For his work he uses old polaroid films, expired for a long time, which bestow on his pictures a very individual, surreal style. In every free minute, he sets off for new photographic adventures, always seeking for remote and hidden places in the wilderness, which inspire his extraordinary creations.
