This short film looks at three distinct regions of Nepal, the bustling streets of Kathmandu, Jyamrung, a rural village environment and the Khumbu region along the route to Everest Base Camp and in this case to Kalar Patthar for a final view of Everest herself. Mingma Sherpa narrates via a recording made of a conversation with filmmaker Richard Berry at the end of the filmmaking journey where they discussed many aspects of life and connections to the land and the wider world. This is a social commentary set to the beautiful scenery and culture of Nepal.
